    I think the only thing you can do (besides trying NZ or one of you moving back to help your mom) is to try for a super visa and then apply for PGP. Always try the intended route first before adding to the H&C load. It makes it less effective for everyone

    Id raise a webform and just make sure they know you are in canada. A few weeks after I sent in my PPR I received a P1 email, but I'd still send a message to make sure they will do the same for you. Just say that you are in the country and would like a virtual landing.

    Hi I'm the PA on an outland spousal sponsorship and my visitor status expired last month in June. I had already received P2 (since I am already in Canada and doing the virtual landing) so I applied for an extension prior to my status expiring. I have not received a decision on my extension yet...

    Hey I overstayed during covid for a few years, I was just truthful on my application and my husband and I submitted the application online ourselves and had no issues. We got the US police clearance done in a place in toronto, there is a list on the immigration site of places to get this done.

    No I think you will be okay, just get it done. I had to get an extension on renewing my passport because I couldn't get it done in 30 days(the US doesn't renew passports very quickly)

    The 30 days to do IME is the standard amount of time given to get that done anyway. Seems they are being pretty cool about it not being done sooner.

    November 2024 Outland Spousal Sponsorship Timeline

    I applied November 30th 2024 as outland but I'm already in canada so I'm landing online. I received what I think counts as P2 for online landing (verifying that I'm in canada, adding address and picture) on May 21st. I'm just waiting on ecopr now.

    Oh if you have the trips to canada then I think you need it. I saw it as being required due to all my trips. I had to dig to find all my travel dates.

    I filled mine out with my travels to Canada, but otherwise I would have put NA in the fields and sent it in like that. You can send a webform explaining why you did not include it and see if they are happy with that. Worst thing that will happen is you will be told the application is incomplete...
