    I'm afraid this information is incorrect. IRCC has closed for new SAH group applicants, not for applicants searching for a SAH. But still, to find a SAH willing to spnsor is very very difficult.

    The processing time for Pakistan for most complete applications in the past 6 months just went down from 24 month to 14. We are 6 month into it. I hope the nightmare ends soon.

    thank you so much for your respons! The letter made me happy because that was the first sign after a long wait and I want to believe that it means that IRCC has opened their case because we got it for each family member with name and date of birth.

    from what country do you aply? you can check processing time on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html but it shows only what it has taken IRCC for 80% of the cases in the past 6 month.
