Not at all. That's why I called them. And I asked them on the phone that if I'd get any email notification and they told me it might just be delayed but I guess "NO!"

They do give you the status of Work Permit/Study Permit stuff over the phone. They just can't change the decision. If it's for PR, they can only tell you where your files are. In my case, it's at CPP ottawa. In the BOWP application, I wrote a Cover Letter with UCI number and CEC file number...

Applied on June 8th online and my current work permit is expiring next February. Called CIC today and they told me it was approved on July 8th! "It might take up to 6 weeks for you to received." I laughed...

Done. Sorry didn't know about this...

I got it through an email from Sydney Intake Office, forwarded by my agent.

I just got my File Number today after submitting on April 22nd... Is that normal? No AOR yet though...

The spreadsheet got a bit messed up that the Country column does not match any more. Anyone knows what happened so we can fix it? Or everyone fixes their own part.

Hello, I have a friend who is coming back but forgot his original Work Permit by the time he left. He's getting an Entry Visa in 2 weeks and have a photocopy of his Work Permit. Would that be enough for his entry? Thanks so much!
