@Raya17 @Mano Ahmed this seems to be rather concerning. Does it mean that if people have traveled outside after applying IRCC is likely to slow down their processing?
no no I think I still have a lot of wait but I know a couple of friends not on these forums who are also in the exact scenario and I was surprised none of us has got LPP yet (all of us are behind the "median")
its not that anyone is being prioritised, but certain nationalities and religious backgrounds seem to attract additional checks (seem to being operative term here I can't reliably say), which would not be wholly unsurprising...
still waiting for LPP so no. Also funny thing, I think they are profiling people based on religion and nationality when they're doing background checks. Pretty certain about that.
I may need to travel back to my home country due to a critical illness in the family and might be gone for a couple of months. Been waiting for LPP for 3 months but not sure when it will arrive so can't wait anymore. Do I need to tell IRCC? Any suggestions will be super helpful thx
you will need a language test, the requirements are very clear. There are a few options. If you had given IELTS with your application you could have used it.
finally got through to IRCC. No updates really. All they said was that the application was within the normal timeline and to wait. Its being processed at Vancouver.
Test was sent by Scarborough and completed on March 10. LPP awaited.
