    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

We are still within the processing timeline but if you want help, contacting your MP might get you more info. You can also request GCMS notes from CBSA and not IRCC. CBSA tends to redacte less notes so you will be able to see more. However, with an AOR of Dec 1, your wife's file may be non...

Yes, unfortunately, this means your background or security check hasnt finalized yet, so your application is not ready for the grant review process.

Hi - no, tracker still says last updated March 8 LOL It's kinda comical at this point.

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Did you recently request your gcms notes? See if your case has been assigned. IRCC tends to do things in batches. And if you are also PM03 you might be in the same batch as me given your background and security checks passed months ago as well. BTW, I saw the Sept 25 update in my gcms notes and...

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Close-AOR is Jan 6 and yeah last update before the Sept 25 one was March 8. And both the background and security checks were completed/passed Feb 12. For some reason my application wasn't picked up for automated/junior officer processing and went into the PM03 stack which is a more senior...

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Thanks for the encouraging response. I won't hold my breath with IRCC and just remain patient. I know the timeline is now 13 months and per the tracker I still have 3 more months to go lol

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Looks like I may have some movement. What does it mean when an officer has been assigned to the file and an application deadline given? Do they typically need to meet the deadline? "Location: Grant Review Ready PM03 Application Assignment Due date: 2025/10/25 Assigned by: JW6325 Assigned to...

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Sorry for the confusion. I meant on the discussion board. People reporting movement and oath scheduling are from early Dec AOR. We've waited this long, a few more months won't kill us.

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Nope it's all pending still. And they moved processing time to 11 months. Based on what I'm seeeing they are still working on Dec AORs so I've got a few more weeks of waiting to do.

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Hi there. My AOR is Jan 6 and both my background and criminality were completed/cleared in Feb along with my test. I am in PM03 review with no negative comments or notes. So I'm not sure if PM03 always means it's a CSIS issue. I do agree that for some reason it means that a more senior officer...

    November 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Being out for 3 weeks should have no impact on your citizenship application as the clock on the physical presence requirement for citizenship stopped on the date you signed the application. Only issue for people would be if they are out of the country long enough that it jeopardizes their...

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

I hope you ordered from CBSA as they redact less. For example, the IRCC GCMS file, they redacted the security and criminality results but in the CBSA version, it was all there. That's how I know both were completed back in February.

    October 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Ironically, IRCC dropped my middle name during last PR renewal even though my SIN card, ON driver license and US passport all have my full name on it. It struck me as funny. They better not omit my middle name from the citizenship certificate as it won't match my US passport or birth certificate.

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

We are almost at the end of the 10 month processing so we are close to the front of the line. Patience is key. Thankfully I've been super busy with life that I haven't had much time to dwell on the application. I did check to make sure I'm routine and that was enough. A lot happened in 8...

    December 2024 - Citizenship Applications

YE Agreed. Even though we may find it inconvenient, we are still within the posted processing timeline of 10 months. Those of us who are waiting on LPP and oath dates should not panic until we get to September. At that point we can start to look into making formal inquiries via lawyers, MPs...

    October 2024 - Citizenship Applications

It isn't irrelevant in that ALL travel history + absence from Canada within the eligibility period of 5 years must be accounted for in your records in order for a decision to be made. What may seem insignificant or irrelevant to applicants may have legal/procedural requirements behind them.

Actually isn't that a senior officer? Those processing fast had 'PM01'. Therefore, it is my opinion that, even though the application is routine, there may be a wait time due to the scarcity of officers at the PM03 level. I say this because I'm in the same category. All those with PM01 from...

Still no word on LPP. Last ghost update was on March 8. Congratulations! I'm happy for you. You're almost done. And thank you, but I'm not that stressed about it. The more of you that get LPP completed means mine will too soon. I ordered a 2nd round of GCMS notes so let's see what that says (if...
