We did. We lost our COPR Original and applied for "Verification of Status Document". So we used this to apply for citizenship and also explained in the forms why we couldnt submit original COPR. Our app is in process now

So, I have been checking my status since I received my AOR on Sep 12th, but nothing changed in eCas but mysteriously my application status is now "In process" when I checked this morning(Sep 17) but says CIC started processing my application on Sep 14th. Quite Interesting ;D

Foofoo, my sincere advise. Wait till this week. Give CIC a call on Monday morning, if you dont hear anything positive, prepare yourself a second application by end of next week and mail it to CIC.

So finally we receive our AOR by email today. Exactly after 1 month since Canada post delivered application to CIC. eCas is not active and i presume according to the timelines of others here, it would be atleast a week before it is active. Waiting did pay off this time as i did not have to...

Dont worry. We will perhaps have to wait one more week until Sep 16th and then call CIC and ask if they advise us to resend the application. Yes its a little more pain to redo application, get photopgraphs and send it to Sydney. Its gonna cost us some time and money but its not the end of world...
