Awesome, great news, congrats everyone with oath ceremonies coming up.

Anybody else besides me who wrote the test in September 2015? I might be wrong but for my calculations it seems that CIC is sending oath letter to whom have wrote the test in Edmonton in July and even some August, hopefully September Test Takers get letter soon too.

Okay, you are mixing residency requirements to apply for citizenship AND to not loose your permanent resident status... very simple, under the new rules you are eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship only after of four (4) years as a PERMANENT RESIDENT, which means, sometime October, 2019...

Hello oldfriend My passport expired way before i sent my citizenship application in and as of today i have not renewed it yet. I sent application in March 2015 and eCAS shows "Decision Made" since a week ago. Now, i dont think its such a big deal but that will be so up to the officer holding...

Also you need to be registered as a voter by Elections Canada and remember, after you become a Canadian citizen please allow at least two (2) days till you apply for Canadian services like a passport.
