    Spousal sponsorship submission

each case is unique and there isn't necessarily a wrong or right way. I can see there are many positive aspects to your application. However, if you come from a culture where weddings are a significant part of marriage, the absence of one could potentially raise some red flags. IRCC assesses the...

    Spousal inland pr/out of status

you are right! sorry about that, mate. I think I meant to say or should've said that the chances of removal are fairly low unless the applicant is removal-ready or inadmissible for reasons other than simply lacking status.

    Unauthorized Work - Inland Sponsorship

would not recommend doing unauthorized work at all! While the public policy exempts spousal sponsorship applicants to have valid status at the time of application, it is not a blanket protection from all removal proceedings. So yes if you did unauthorized work or were out of status in the past...

    Other relative

It's called the lonely canadian sponsorship program. But like @Naturgrl said, you would need to prove your parents are dead and you have no family or relatives (anyone related by blood) in canada.

Timeline help: VR pending + PR AOR received + SOWP pending. Am I safe?

Hi, 1. Until you get rejected for both the VR and SOWP (which is highly unlikely unless you are inadmissible; out of status aren't grounds for inadmissibility), you will have status. So yes if your VR is refused, your OWP application will keep you in status. 2. On the off-chance you do get...

Hey guys, I applied for my SOWP on 30th June 2025 after receiving my AIP. I was out of status before that. I’d really appreciate it if anyone who was previously out of status and got their SOWP successfully could share their timeline. Thanks a lot!

    Spousal inland pr/out of status

Hi, you can apply for your OWP and it's actually encouraged because technically you're still out of status, but your sponsorship application protects you from any removing proceedings.

Sorry to hear that. It is should go through the IRCC PR application portal. I'm not sure why it's not working.
