    They usually send a biometric request when the previous one has expired or is about to. Either way, that means your officer has opened your files again

    They do go over everything again when finalizing. For me, the eligibility was reviewed and passed one day after the final decision

    Very unfair then.. I never understood IRCC and their logic 2023 people are getting their results.. slow but still going.. don't lose hope!

    I believe the non-complex cases pass faster. Not always true, but in 80% cases

    I contacted 3 different MPs during my WP application (I moved from the city). None of them helped more than normal updates. Only one left a note for the officer to request more information In my case, MP didn't work

    Also, I had applied for my WP extension back in Aug 2024, and they just approved it a few days ago. Maybe IRCC just woke up cuz i saw someone who applied on April 11 got their P1 as well (in the same thread)
