    It is very frustrating, I had a similar conversation with a rep that said my application will be decided by April 2027. i.e calculating 34 months from the date i applied.

    That is incorrect technically, the call centre agents can only see the progress in your file. Both your Criminality and Security could have completed but an officer is not working on your file hence they are not updated. I have heard countless times about how the call center agent says something...

    Did you do medicals in the past 5 years? they could have simply pulled your old records...have you not received AIP/Sponsor Approval? If not I would call IRCC and check what your application status is.
