bash thxx im sure urs will be very soon. if u are a lebanon resident - there is now an option to submit it in Beirut embassy mentioned on the PPR. But its not clear if u get it the next day in Beirut. Its mentioned that the easiest way of all is to claim it in Damascus. I will figure out now...

It is comforting thanks. However the info came through a friend of a friend at the embassy that they have decided to start transfering the pending files but to be honest i really hope it is not true. It just made me FREAK out. I do not want any more delays.

URGENT: Guys, did anyone hear that the spousal files in Damascus are now being transferred to either Beirut or Warsaw? If so, can someone PLEASE confirm this piece of information? Thanks!

just to clarify I am only talking about the CSQ which is the only difference between Quebec applicants and other provinces. Everything else follows the same exact process. And according to Damascus it is all the same. THey just want to see your CSQ in the fille before they give you the visa.

nagz i dont know how to answer u. the file was delayed at cic because i needed to provide proof of residency & they mailed me to provide the proof to the consulate. so i guess it took some time before getting to damascus, but then i received the rq from damascus. stressful times...
