Hey Guys, Does anyone know if PR card arrives in 6-8 weeks like they say or it takes longer? Also if someone who just landed in Canada and waiting for PR card to arrive in mail needs to go outside Canada for any emergency, how can they enter canada back? Thanks

Ricky...I applied for my wife on March 1 and they requested PP on April 21, they held her PP for 5 months b4 issuing Visa, My 6 month deadline was to finish on Oct 11. ECAS is still showing "In Process".

I was just on the phone with my wife and we got VISA....I am so happy today. I hope everybody gets VISA soon.

Aman do u remember how long it take for ND to answer ur MP's enquiry? My MP sent an enquity one week ago and still waiting, I thought they usually reply to MP soon? Did u try to do a second enquiry with your MP?

Approval date is 04 April, we received PPR on April 22.

I live in Surrey, BC and my wife is in New Delhi. Hopefully everybody gets Visa soon.

Dont worry too much guys..they have been holding my wife's PP for 4 months now so be patient and thas all you can do. They have a processing time of 6 months from the day your file reaches India and before that they are not liable to answer you. I haven't sent any CSE but had my wife did go to...
