    So it means the system still accepted it even though there was a gap from September to November - period when you don't have a work permit (actually, you did have permit extension but opted to exclude it) and PR status. Well, you were still in Canada within that gap so you were still present...

    I'm curious how the system accepted it if you exclude your work extension. I assume that your original work permit expired before you got your PR, right? So, there will be a gap period if you had your original work permit expired before you got your PR.
