hey guys, i had a question the oci inquiry website says documents received at toronto whereas the bls website says processing at consulate general, does that mean the card is ready?what are my next steps? pio to oci conversion walkin application brampton 31st October date of ack- 6th December...

they replied “OCI process goes through a clearance process from the Ministry of Home Affairs, which cannot be interfered with. We sympathize with your situation and will give your request due priority. Please send a reminder after 8 weeks of your application at oci.toronto@mea.gov.in”

i applied on the same date as yours and i am also planning to apply for evisa as i already booked a flight on jan 11, i too have the same doubt of yours, would appreciate if we both keep update on the timeline of process and would also appreciate if you give me some light on how e visa works and...

and also whats your opinion on the evisa? should i consider it? if yes whats the processing time and will it arrive before jan 11 so that i dont miss my flight( backup)
