Finally received the second OCI as well. My tryst with BLS is finally over (at least for another 17-18 years)! Thanks to all the 'Heroes' here for guiding us folks, and good luck to all those who are waiting for their OCIs. Hopefully your travel plans aren't disrupted.

Finally received one of the OCIs in hand today. The one that was approved on 11/11. Meanwhile, the other one is stuck at 'Shipment created - Interim manifest received' since last evening. Hopefully this one gets picked up later tonight and delivered tomorrow.

I got tracking numbers for both of my OCIs. Neither application's status has been updated on the BLS portal. Looks like BLS is either severely understaffed or overloaded with work or both

The problem is, I can't even search on Purolator using the application number as there already exists a tracking number tied to that number. That one was created when they sent my originals back (old Ind passport). So I have no option but to speak with someone at BLS. Unless somehow magically...

Thanks. I called BLS late in the evening and was told they haven't received the OCIs yet from CGI. Not sure how accurate that is. Oh well, just have to wait now.

Second application processed as well. All three dates showing as Nov 11. This one had Oct 20th as Ack Date

Significant movement today on the applications acknowledged on Oct 16. So heartening to see. Toronto tracker has only 2 applications with no updates and I'm hoping that's because those folks haven't reported them yet and not because there isn't anything to report. Just a few more days to go...

I applied for e-visa on Sept 19 (might have been Sept 20 according to IST). The decision to suspend was effective from Sept 21. So I tend to not trust those folks who are claiming their e-visa applications have been approved post the resumption announced earlier today.

I didn't, I paid around $90 I believe. 30 for sending our applications together and 60 (30 each) for them to return our OCIs. I'm really curious what's going on. Will have to wait until tomorrow

The HCI Ottawa announcement about resuming visa services doesn't mention e-visas specifically. Is it fair to assume e-visas are NOT in scope then? If yes, then this announcement doesn't help a lot of us here at all

Not sure if this has been mentioned here before - ever since the day the status of my OCI changed from 'No such file found' to 'Under Process' on the OCI website, the status on the BLS tracker is showing as 'In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre'. Is this normal/expected?
