Write a post about it cuz I'm not sure about the re-entry part. The refusal is valid because you need to have a valid LMIA in order to apply for an open work permit.

My employer had the PR only LMIA in process when my work permit expired. It came through positive and I applied for PR. Literally a draw happened today, which I fall under. Hopefully in next 6 months I'll be back in Canada. FYI: I left Canada before my 90 days, to restore my status was up.

Honestly, PR support LMIA would cost 0 dollars whereas the dual intent would cost about a grand (1k). If your employer is willing to pay the money, on top of going through the Job Bank/Interviewing process, then go with Dual Intent i.e. work permit, otherwise just PR Support should work, if...

They asked my employer to submit my previous 6 weeks pay slips.

Application Submitted on OCTOBER 3rd, 2023 Officer Reached out for additional paperwork on MARCH 5th, 2024 at 11 a.m. Sent LMIA Letter on same day, MARCH 5th, 2024 at 3 p.m. The status changed from "Queued to Assessment" to directly "Decision Rendered". I didn't have any "Assessment in Process"...

Feels great to read such news. It's been a while. What surprising is that the duration... my employer had submitted my application on October 3rd and It's still in queued for assessment. I just hope, like yours, my employer gets an update soon. Fingers Crossed! Thanks for sharing your news...

It's unpredictable at the moment. Some get an update in less than a few weeks others take a lot longer than that.

Wow, that's a long time to not receive a response. Mine was applied in October and I'm in a dire need of it than ever.

PR only. I have 481 with LMIA so one of the draws should do it – I hope.

Just going to be here with my friends until the end of April, and go to be with my family in States. I have an LMIA in process as well that was submitted in the first week of October last year - hopefully it comes through by then.

Does any know how long restoring status to visitor will take? More specifically: applying to get a visitor record from inside Canada after immigration denied the WP with an option to restore. Please, any insight will be helpful. Thank you.

Yes, CRS score will be above 500. I am closely following up with my employer and was trying to suggest/help @Kajal rana the same. I don't have any questions or concerns. I know all I got to do is wait.
