Yeah, I applied using the portal, so I had to have an account there. You just need to mention in your reply to the first portal email that you already have an account and the email registered. I did that and everything went okay. I'm not sure if it creates more delays for people who did not...

I just received the application approval one day after I got the eCoPR. It was one of that "we uptated your application status" emails. It's a bit frustrating because I didn't even know if the application was fully approved before the Portal emails.

You can link your PR card application to your IRCC account, just need to use the same information that was received in the eCoPR exactly as they wrote your personal info. You can see when it is approved and mailed.

No, I didn't, as there was a declaration check stating that you took it within the last 12 months. I have the picture with the back part here, in case they ask for it. But it would be nice to check with others how they did it as well.

You need to link it again, and after finding it, they will link a new PR card application (different number than the PR application). Just make sure you use exactly the same info you got in your eCoPr (for example, birth city and name you're using).
