Do you know whether they got back to them with a reply showing that they received and understood that the applicant already sent the medicals? It seems unusual for them to try to hurry us to submit the results as the forms clearly indicated we had 90 days to do them... I hope that's a good sign...

I wonder why they are going so slowly and in such small batches. Also, I've done my medicals and was wondering whether they'd start rolling out passport requests after everyone in 2006 gets the med request or would they start doing that earlier? Because if they are going to wait for everyone in...

Immigration violations are NEVER good for you on the long run. As far as I know, there are no amnesty programs in sight. From an ethical standpoint, by staying illegally, you are jeopardizing the chances of other people from your country to come to Canada legally for legitimate, honest reasons...

I agree that's the ideal thing to do, but like it's been pointed out, it's easy to do, but very hard to apply, especially when we are so close and we know it.... Anyways, congrats man! Enjoy your life in Canada!

I still hold on to the 68-month hope, but I am afraid it's only statistical. It tells us what happened, not what will happen. However, I do think that the updates are valid for a year from the date of them receiving them. I think med requests shall roll out to everyone within a year of the date...

You're right, there was the letter (asks you to check info is right on forms, tells you to take forms to doc who sends them) and the medical forms. It was sent by mail, no email....

Thank you! I updated early because I started collecting documents in april 2010, and I only applied for myself (no family) so i was the only principle applicant and no dependents........ I checked my status on CIC website and still has not updated, should it update???????
