Hey how is it going? Any change for you? Its unbelievable the time taken in doing their jobs. As in they have a section that deals with PCC exclusively for each embassy office, right? Especially when they have a separate section and email on website, that is exclusively for PCC. And "8 weeks"...

Hey! No it's stil the same. They replied to me on July 11th saying: "we will issue by next week". So am guessing.. on Monday? If there is no change, I Wil send another email, query and go in person on Wednesday. It's so frustrating

Yeah Sampark they won't respond unless it's missing info or somethin else directly involving them. Now that yur pcc is clear..indian 'indian' part is done. It's all in hands of embassy and bls now. This is the email I used (I didn tag any other emails): pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in

Nice! Did you get the cat no. in your email? I guess status wil change to "police verification initiated..." soon and you can contact the police station in a couple of days if they don't contact your address in India, to move things along.

Why are they like this. Bssed on all the previous threads, almost everyone have suffered waiting for them to do their jobs. It not like it's a free service - we gotta pay for ridiculous things at BLS- it's jus annoying

How long does it take to change from "PCC application along with fee details have been received. The same is under processing at the Embassy/Consulate." to Police verification initiated? Submitted in person at BLS-Tor on 21st, June. Been the same status since that day..ughh
