I recently called the immigration office and I was told everything in my process is completed, including background check. I received a pre-arrival services letter 3 months ago, but no updates since then. Does anyone know why it’s taking so long, if everything is done?

I applied by myself. I thought about hiring a consultant but the price was out of my budget. So far, I didn't have any issues with documentation. You just have to read carefully (ten times) before submitting to see if you're not missing anything.

My timeline: Applied: Sep. 21 AOR: Oct. 13 Biometrics request: Jan. 25 STATUS: waiting for updates.
