The require biometrics so in case anything happen or you commit a crime there is a record of your fingerprints and photo on the system available which would help them identify who you are, that was wat I was told in 2018 when I had to do biometrics for visitor's visa for Canada

I have not I do not think there has been any movement since biometrics. We received AOR on 4 Jan 2023, applied 26 July 2020, did not have to give biometrics, was already on file from previous CA visa. There have not been any movement on our timeline.

I do not have a countdown on mine, my processing show 100% with estimated completion dat 27 December 2022, but have only received AOR on 4 January, since we linked we have not received any communication.
