yeah that is a typical answer from a clueless agent. try contacting your local MP to get the microdetails.

unfortunately only an ircc agent can give you such details. contact 1 (888) 242-2100 and press 2-1-2-0 to get a hold of an agent.

Oh you're definitely getting scammed if lawyer is charging 6.5k. Steer clear and apply for H&C. Issue is you are kind of stuck with no eligibility to restore status while application is processed.

I requested exemptions for not having a valid temporary resident status (not at the time when the application was submitted, but right now) and also for submitting an IELTS test report form that was not less than two years old when the application was received. What about you?

Logged in this morning and got the following update for review of medical results: July 5, 2023 You passed the medical exam. Does this mean they're working on the file? I already knew I had passed the test through a conversation with an IRCC agent.

I spoke to IRCC today regarding my application. They stated that it was received on July 25 2021 No processing time for these applications. Eligibility and security not started. Criminality is in progress. Medicals are passed and expired and validity was extended. Valid until Nov 2023...

I like to believe that is the case but no official word of mouth yet,
