I am not the main applicant I am the spouse of the main applicant. My husband got his PR since 2021 after which our file was sent to Acccra Ghana. All these processes started 45months ago.

so why does Accra take forever. I have been on my own for 45 months now PR application started in March 2021 for both main applicants and dependants outside Canada, Only Biometrics has been done. We did upfront medicals last year which has now expired. Why the long wait ?

What this means is that we might never complete the processing time right? We keep waiting and the processing time keeps jumping and each time you check, they revert that your application is still within processing time right?

I have sent my proof of communication and other documents requested by Ghana since July and I haven't gotten any updates till now. It's exactly 3months today and still no news. Infact I don't know what to think again.

Honestly that's a question no one can answer except God but I know that there are people on this platform who have been waiting for 3years plus and the application is still ongoing. So like I said just keep praying. Secondly on the website, it say 50 months or so

What I really don't understand is why it takes less than a year to process for the main applicant and 50 months for dependants outside. 50 months is almost 5years or am I mistaken ?

I have done my biometrics and medicals upfront, so the only instruction I'm expecting from them now is passport request. I have been more than patient. Also the processing time keep changing and never stops.
