Thanks for the clear explanation, one thing I don`t understand is does that mean we have to wait for interest to sponsor application to open again? 9 years? It is a bit too extreme, do you know how often they accept interest to sponsor applications in the past?

Yes we got ours after 5 weeks.

Just for your reference, even though they said 2-4 weeks during oath, it takes 2-6 weeks to receive them. Mine took 5 weeks.

Mine was as below, so 1 month after I posted our application by mail, I received Application filed info. 2 months after that updates started showing up on my tracker. No update until now seems a bit too long, maybe try calling them. Jan 30, 2021 Application mailed Mar 2, 2022 Application filed...

Congrats! Seems like it is 2-6 weeks range to receive certificates, not 2-4 weeks like they said. In my case it was 5 weeks.

It should have been dispatched normally if you see that it is completed, but you never know, because my tracker shows still in progress even though I received the certificate.

We had it on the same day:) I live only 1 hour away from Niagara and still took 40 days to receive it, If you are living further, maybe due to holidays it might get delayed, but I would enjoy holiday and don`t think about it until new year;) At least you know someone from the same date received...

I think it is both, I had my oath on 9th Nov, someone that had oath on the same day told on another forum that they were printed on 29th Nov, received mine on 19th Dec. But every office works different, some people received earlier than me.

Oath ceremony 9th of Nov, sent the signed oath document by email on the same day, received certificate on 19th Dec. Tracker still shows in progress.

Just check my progress above your post, had my ceremony on Nov 9th and just received certificate yesterday. Still shows in progress.

Update regarding my situation, received the citizenship certificate at last! Tracker still shows citizenship ceremony in progress. So don`t worry about the tracker that much.

I tried this 2 times, received a reply saying this email is used only for sending documents, they want me to fill out the web form which they never reply to.

We are in the same boat. Nov 9th, virtual, Niagara office. My status never changed to closed, oath ceremony shows still in progress. They told us 2-4 weeks though. But still nothing yet.

They told us 2-4 weeks. If you haven`t received it yet guess everyone around that time period is still waiting.

It has been more than one month after oath and still no certificate yet. My oath was on Nov 9th, anyone else took oath on or around date and received their certificate from Niagara office?

I didn`t have anything reverted, my problem is it hasn`t been updated since Oct 22nd, I did my oath and still shows in progress, also still haven`t received my certificate. It has been 36 days.
