The system is inherently a bad design. There are clearly two groups here. There are two tips of the curve..one for people with nomination & LMIA, another for people without them....a better way would have been to separate the two types and limit number of PR from both groups- and two...

I hypothesis is that the scores are nearing to the tip of the normal curve (the scores must be in a normal or normal like curve)....the number of candidates with score near 470-450 is huge and it will take considerable time and draws for the score to cross the median score.....

Hi EEBANKER, 1. The cost of the program depends on the school. You can buy some books/notes from seniors but you will have to buy some books 1st hand (specially the expensive ones >:( ).I did not buy many books, just the Finance ones - Fin. Acct. and Corporate Finance ( estimate $200 each )...

I faced the same problem and found the fix. The system only counts the experience in one NOC for eligibility - the NOC you mentioned as your primary occupation. Please check that you have enough experience in your primary occupation NOC added in your profile.

Choice of Primary occupation. For FSW experience in primary occupation only gets counted. I earlier mentioned my current job NOC (in Canada) as my primary occupation which is different from my experience in India..I do not have enough experience in Canada. I faced the same problem...please note that you need at least 12 months of experience in the NOC you mentioned as primary occupation. Only experience in primary occupation gets counted. Also, check all the details.

You can mention that but it will not be counted. Only experience in primary occupation will be counted. So, choose you primary occupation wisely.

Hi lucky07, please check all the details. The NOC for the primary occupation must be same with the work experience. I contacted CIC and they clarified that. Please check the details and if you cannot find anything them contact CIC..they will take some time though.
