Hello, Could someone update the real time facts on processing time for ICT Work permit, if applied from USA ? Is it 14 weeks really as posted in the CIC page?

In that case, can I apply for both and see which one sticks? Would there be any negative impacts ? PS: I asked this question as a separate thread here as well. Sorry for cross posting if it is not allowed.
