Checking column AA "DM to Oath Letter" on the spreadsheet will give you an idea. Seems to range from less than one week up to two months.

It seems to go into some kind of pending state while the test result is being checked, you'll probably be able to log in again in a day or two when the "Test Complete" status is set.

Thanks - yeah, it seems to go in waves, nothing at all for a long time, then a few things all at once. The test invite took what felt like a long time to come but since then it's a bit better.

Mississauga, I think - at least my test was sent from there. I'm not sure if my app was always that office though.

My tracker got another update today: March 23rd LPP completed. That was faster than I expected, so just waiting for oath invite now.

For preparation, I did a casual read of the book about a month ago once my FP/BG stuff was done, and now i'm doing a more detailed reading, and writing notes. I also find listening to the audiobook is pretty useful too to kind of reinforce the stuff I've read.

Got my test invite today! The tracker was updated this morning but the date stated in the tracker is March 14th. The test window is March 20th - April 9th. Received the email this afternoon, it was from IRCC.DNCitMISScheduling-ConvocationMISCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca, so I guess that's Mississauga..

From seeing these issues people are reporting with taking the photos etc., I'm thinking I might do the photo stuff as soon as I get the invite, then the test later when I'm ready, as it seems you don't necessarily need to do them together...

They were requested Jan 20th and I submitted on Jan 23rd with an accredited service from the list (https://www.canadianfingerprints.com/)

My tracker got updated today: Feb 5, 2023 FP Received Feb 6, 2023 BG Complete

At the place I got my FP done they said it'd take 2-4 weeks for IRCC to receive it (via RCMP i guess). From the spreadsheet it looks like the BG complete happens a day or two after FP received.

Looking at some of the previous months in the spreadsheet, it doesn't seem like too much, a couple of weeks overall depending on how fast you get the fingerprints to them. e.g. in the July and August tabs, people who got an FP request end up getting the BG complete within a day or two of "FP...
