Hi, We got a letter titled "Validity of your biometric information" the same day as we got the passport request letter.

Yes they did! Did you not get this?

The application was submitted on 15th June.

We got approval on the 27th September. Waiting on my wife's passport to come back now.

This does not inspire confidence. I'm in London and handed over my wife's non ETA passport to receive a stamp for spouse open work permit 6 days ago. Guess we've got some waiting to do!

The application for a work permit was submitted in 15th June, 2022, and biometrics were given on 20th June, 2022.

Type of application: Spouse Open Work Permit (as spouse is from a country that does not have an ETA arrangement with Canada, her passport must be stamped for her work permit - even if mine does not need to be. I am from the UK so no need for my passport to be stamped). My timeline so far...
