    31st August my passport was received at IRCC . Today 24th October counterfoil has been generated on the profile. Yet to receive VFS notification. So yes took me exactly 8 weeks!

    Congrats ! I am hoping mine comes soon too . Reached IRCC on 31 Aug . I agree that mailing them speeds nothing . I mailed them more than 5 times last month.

    After it is received by the IRCC office the status changes to it's under process at the IRCC office. If your status is not that then contact VFS

    I submitted my passport to the LVO in the last week of August. The wait game just began for me haha.
