I submitted my OCI application walk-in in BLS Brampton on 10th November. The key learning is to take printouts of all checklist pages for all the applicants. I had taken the printout for only the first page, and they made me buy the checklist copy from them. It was 50 cents per page :rolleyes:

Unless you have any urgency, my advice is 1) go on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. These days have the lower wait times 2) avoid going at 4 AM. It is getting colder at night and not worth getting sick for a surrender certificate

I don't think so. The consulate does processing in batches. A friend submitted it after a week, and she has the same timeline as me.

Which office are you referring to? The lineup was massive earlier this year. Did the situation not improve?
