does it take as long if I decide to do a seperate PR request but using my post diploma work permit ? Since they are starting this new law that people that just graduated don’t have to work two years before applying for the PR and can do it directly?

How can we know that we didn’t make it to the cut for example ? If I applied in December and I already have given everything in February. And since April the only thing left that’s not completed is the background check that says « in progress »…. Does it really mean that I’m waiting 2 freaking...

Any updates on your part ? my background check is still saying in progress and nothing has changed…. I’m especially worried cause now online it says the processing time is 26 months for QUEBEC PEOPLE….
