Application Nov 21 Processing Jun 22 No update since then CBSA notes Feb 23 Passed Eligibility and started security right after Portal invitation last week and ECOPR today

Yeah I need to add that my background check was extremely fast, probably because I’m very young with no travel history, and my case is not political so there’s not a lot to check… background can vary a lot but I encourage you to do CBSA notes if you haven’t done one this year.

In fact, my GCKEY account still says: "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." These are totally unreliable and the only way you can get correct info/trigger a movement is requesting GCMS notes.

It means they just started your security check, expect it to go back to that original status soon.

Paper application takes at most 2 more months because they will scan your stuff and deal with electronic files anyway. the downside of online application is you won’t be able to track your application on ECAS, and GCKEY is not accurate.

On the last page of my notes there is a partially redacted entry says “Adm/Security Based on the information provided, [redacted]” and my security field is redacted on the main page. There is no Adm/Security entry before that and my security page doesn’t have many sub-activities. Does it mean...

Well looks like you got it from IRCC and it has very different content then. Either way congrats I hope you get PR card soon.

There is a page that says “all” on the top-left corner and there might be an activity that is labelled adm/security on the left side, which may be partly redacted. In my case it just says “based on the information provided, [redacted]”, the redacted sentence could say that I have already passed...

this means they are processing your security unless the last page says yours is ready for approval, give it a few more months btw does your last page have a half-redacted entry says "based on the information provided,..."? not sure what that means

Apply for notes through CBSA, not IRCC, if you apply through IRCC they will not do anything. Every time I applied through CBSA they replied within 6 weeks. IRCC is completely useless.

Same here, this might have become the new normal.
