I would say only do your medical when they request. If you do upfront, you have to submit webform which would take 2 months. If you do when they Requests you, then you will see medical passed a week after you do your medical. Rest up to u

If your application is linked to gc key then it would be there. If not, then you might get it in email. Mine was in GC key

Yes, that works, I did my webform same way like you did and they updated my address. And with calls, I usually leave my number after trying couple of times and then they call you back.
