Hi Members, I am planning my travel to canada on visitor visa on 8 th Feb 2023. Since the visit visa was approved on 6th Dec 2022, I am travelling after 2 months of approval. Is it okay to make the first travel after such a gap since approval? Regards, Anunay

@Deen031201 : I am Indian but applied from my country of residence (Singapore). 210 days passed for me and no change in my application. Seems Singapore VO is not working on TRVs now. Applicants from India are getting faster response. Did you apply from your country of citizenship?

We regret that processing times are very long right now. Temporary Resident (including visitors, students and workers) processing capacity at some missions has been reduced, with resources currently diverted to other priorities. We are making every effort to reduce wait times in our services...

I too got a similar reply today for my 15th Oct Webform.

Good that they replied on your query. They did not reply my webforms. No idea if they are at all considering the visitor visas as backlogs.

You may raise the question in the study visa threads. This is a visitor visa thread. However, my wife raised her study visa in Nov 2021 in the new portal and got it approved in March 2022. Hence I would suggest for new portal. Best of luck.
