I had my visa appointment in Toronto on 23rd February, status showed approved the same day. Not sure how long it takes to change to issued and return now.

Hey. Mine was Dropbox so I just send both copy of DS 160 and a letter explaining the change and eventually they changed in system on their end. In your case try contacting helpdesk to see if they can change DS160 from their end without having to change appointment date.

That is not true. I know some people who got Dropbox option for a new visa. For example they had L1 before and now doing H1 and got Dropbox after answering all question.

You should probably receive three emails: 1. When tracking number is created 2. When item is shipped and tracking starts 3. When it’s delivered Not sure if all cases will be same but atleast I got these notifications.

Oh I know the pain of waiting and the whole unknown. Did you try contacting Canada post via call or chat? My package was a day late than what was shown initially, I contacted via chat and mentioned to them that it’s crucial document like passport. I think that probably may have helped a little.

In my case it became active same day in a couple of hours.

Received a email that documents are released and once tracking number is created, we will receive another email.

I checked my last time stamping that was done in Canada - My application was approved on Friday and Monday was a holiday too coincidently. They sent out passport on Tuesday and I received email of dispatch around 2pm. So I think I may panic after 2pm if I don't hear anything, ha ha
