    Importance of Optional Documents?

Not that I know of. Some people may choose to withdraw and resubmit. But if your case is straightforward, it is better to wait for the result as the withdrawal takes a long time too... And don't panic.. some of my friends passed under SDS without any additional documents.

    Importance of Optional Documents?

Additional documents should go under Client Information. It may take a long time for IRCC to receive your documents sent via webform, but maybe you will get the ppr without them... Anyways, good luck!

I request people who applied for a study permit in or after April of this year to share their timeline, I am in a huge dilemma regarding sds vs n.sds.

Actually two months is not long for us... I don't how it works for your country, but for China, if you applied with a master program, it often takes two months and above... Those who get ppr in about ten days are either undergraduate or post-baccalaureate diploma/certificate applicant...

I have a friend who was qualified for sds, but answered NO to the upfront medical exam question and submitted the medical exam information sheet together with the application. I just got her massage that she received the ppr (two months after application). Hope the news gives you a little comfort...

I request people who applied for a study permit in or after April of this year to share their timeline, I am in a huge dilemma regarding sds vs n.sds.

Actually I was in the same situation when I applied. I eventually changed the IELTS question but still submitted the test scores... Though I'm still waiting for the result, I think it will be fine.. After all the questionnaire is not part of the application, and the vo makes decisions only based...

Clarifications needed while filling Study Permit

If you click the question mark next to Purpose of Travel, it will tell you to upload things like flying ticket. However, most people won't book tickets until they have the work permit. So what we do here in China is to upload a LOE explaining why you are applying, what you will be doing in...

Clarifications needed while filling Study Permit

Hi, If I remember correctly, “immi 5257 schedule 1” is only required if you answered yes to questions 3-6 in the immi 1294 form. Check 1294 again and you will find the explanation there. However, if your answers to these questions are all no, you can still fill out schedule 1. It won’t...

Clarifications needed while filling Study Permit

I'm not sure about this..., but I think the SOP should always focus on your study in Canada. If your sibling won't financially help you (providing money or housing etc.) during your stay in Canada, you are not required to mention them in your SOP. And yes, lack of ties to your home country or...

    GIC Address Mismatch

Yes. Personal address doesn’t matter, but other information you input (account number, cc code, swift code, bank address, etc.) should be consistent with the payment instruction.

I request people who applied for a study permit in or after April of this year to share their timeline, I am in a huge dilemma regarding sds vs n.sds.

It’s a co-op or intern work permit, so it doesn’t take extra time for processing. If your study permit is approved and you have provided the right proof for work requirement, you will be approved for the work permit for your coop/internship too! So don’t worry about it. I’m sure things will...

How much money is safe enough applying SDS?

First-year tuition payment + gic is enough if your case is straightforward, meaning that your program is reasonable considering your age, education history, work experience, etc. Also a solid SOP can improve your chance, if you have limited funds. Wish you good luck.
