@stalker Did you parents have to do the Medical ? For the question "How long are you planning to stay in Canada?", if I select more than 6 months, Medical is required. I dont know if more than 6 months apply to their whole stay, or just for Visitor Record.

Was it just like "their Visitor Record is in process but they left" ? And did they receive the visitor record or it just gets cancelled ?

@stalker thanks for this post. I am in the same situation. Parents need to extend for 1 month only while the current processing time for visitor record is 200+days. Reading your comments above, it seems like it is safe for my parents to leave Canada while the visitor record is in process...
