Hey @nyiable, just wondering how long did it take for your mother-in-law to receive passport back ?

So my mom needs to bring her own ENVELOPE with BVL + passport + $4US ? I didn’t know about the envelope part, thanks for the heads up :)

Have you thought about taking upfront medical exam? Two other members in here and I also applied from VN end of March, we all did upfront medical and we all got BVL&PPR at the same time which was earlier today.

Yayy!!! I was wondering this myself as well lol. Hopefully @nyiable can chime in since his other mom got PPR in March. But my brother called NTMK office and looked like that was all they needed to bring. I think it’s only $4US for courier fee though. When I was wondering this myself as well...

I don’t have first hand experience on this matter but from what I’ve read so far in this forum, many people were able to submit their passport to the closest Visa office wherever they were. May be someone else can chime in, or you can call IRCC to make sure.

We’ve just received PPR too. So happy ❤❤❤ What a coincidence that we got the exact timeline and got approved at the same time right? They definitely processed them in batches. Hopefully @bonmatin2022 will get good news when he/she wakes up tmr too.

Hey, funny enough, my mom’s got BVL just now too and when logged in I could see that eligibility review has started also. Fingers crossed for all of us

Still no news for us. And none of the people I knew got any update either. It seems like VN visa office stopped giving out PPR after Mar 31 or something because quite a few people who applied in Feb and early March got PPR within 4 weeks ‍♀️

Hey, have your parents had any previous CAN/US visa or travel history to any where? Was it their first Super Visa application?

Medical passed on Apr 18 over here and we’re still waiting anxiously I’ve just changed expected arrival date on Travel Insurance from May 28 to July 30. I was wondering if I should raise a webform to submit the new updated Travel Insurance Policy. Any one has an idea by chance?

Only Medical passed on Apr 18 No update after that. Eligibility hasn’t even started yet. And she’s from Vietnam.

No @bonmatin2022 , eligibility hasn’t started yet. Everything is still the same since medical passed on Apr 18. My mom has never travelled anywhere before which worried me a bit too.

That was good news then. At least now you know that they are ACTUALLY working on your file lol. Did the Eligibility status in your online account change to “We are reviewing you eligibility”?

Congrats!! May I ask where did you apply from?Has your father have previous US/Canada visa at all? I applied for mom via new portal on Mar 28, medical passed Apr 18. My mom has never travelled anywhere before so I’m a bit nervous. Hopefully we will get good news like you soon

Me Super visa for my mom from VN. Application submitted Mar 28. Biometric completed Apr 1 Upfront medical submitted Apr 4 and passed on Apr 18 Hopefully we will hear good news soon
