If you submitted the application in person, the chances of further documents being requested are less since the first-level verification has already happened by officers at BLS

I submitted my OCI application on August 11th in person at the Brampton location and still no ack from OCI plus the BLS status is still 'Processing at Consulate General'

I double-checked, and the option selected is a visitor visa. Maybe the proof of funds defined when you click is incorrect but I am still not sure.

I see, this helps make sense for the fact that my brother-in-law got asked for the proof of funds. Any idea why the proof of funds is requesting the information of the person that invited them, which would be me?
