Hi, I submitted my application 22nd Oct 2021 and still waiting for decision, but Jan 2022 submitted applications are getting decisions in very short period. Why this is happening?

I haven’t received any update on my student application from 6 months 22nd Oct was my lodge date and I done my biometric on 22nd Nov for Jan intake and I transfer it to May intake, April started still no update, it shows under processing, why processing taking so much time?
