I got my study permit refusal based on purpose of visit. I am planning to reapply after GCMS notes. At the time of creating GIC account, they asked for Letter of acceptance. Since I am going to reapply, I'll have a new Letter of Acceptance. Do I need to cancel and reapply GIC deposit?

Me(student) and husband applied for visa on February 22. Medicals upfront and biometric done on February 28th. I passed medicals on March 4. My biometric updated on February 28th. For my spouse, Medical updated on March 31st Biometric not updated. Both have background check in progress...

Biometric is still not updated for my spouse's SOWP. In my study permit, it's updated. The status for him shows that "We have not received your biometrics" but biometric number and date are displayed at the bottom. So, I guess we are safe. They probably forgot to update it.

Just a small update. I contacted visa processing center because in the SOWP application, medical and biometrics were not updated. They updated medical in the SOWP application today. No changes in SP application.
