I have a question for those folks who applied for only one of their parents regarding the medical exam. If the application is only for one parent, do both of them need to provide medical exam?

I am not 100% sure because I sent the document originally via webform (the upload option was not available in my account) then one day after the submission deadline suddenly the upload option appeared and I sent the documents again.

It was N/A when I got the acknowledgement.

No it's not required but I had a brief one along with other additional documents.

I got an ADR on April 21st for detailed CV, field of study, doctoral advisor, and list of publications. Background never changed for me and remained "we are processing...". I had one GU in early March and medical got passed in early Feb.
