I finally received my PR card since ecopr day of February 7th.

hey, folks. how will ircc let me know that my card will be sent? my photo just got approved today and my wife's one got rejected. My portal is changed to closed case and seemingly will not get updated any more. so will I receive a notification for mailing pr card by Email?

not yet because 6 weeks must be passed from the pr card processing time. I am going to send it soon. since my ecopr was issued at Etobicoke VO, transfered from Calgary, it is now so slow.

Etobicoke VO seems to be the slowest one than others. Did you send a solemn declaration?

your case is same as mine, and as ircc site states that we will be eligible for submitting a solemn declaration of PR card after 6 weeks from initial PR processing time passed, so our case currently needs 71 days after ecopr generation to submit it. They will disregard it if submitted it earlier...

It would Not take 21months on the case of your timeline, because your timeline goes on pretty constantly and likely will be no ADR. most 21months-applicants get AOR a year after AR. You are not one of those backlogs. It would likely be portal email to you within 3 months or earlier after MP...

I called CRA, and she said the new sin number from service canada will be reflected to their system automatically so that I have no need to do with it. one thing of my procedual concern is solved.

I am not sure that this is the right place to drop off this thread. Could anyone tell me how to update my new social insurance number into a CRA account after PR? The cra account's sin number will be automatically updated or do i need to log in to change it? I just got the new sin number this week.
