My hubby got his for a year the first time and just got it renewed (actually the new vistor record came a day after PPR lol) until July 2013 :)

Indefinatly? not really, When you enter you will have 6 months (ask for a stamp or visitor record. also make sure to have proof that you have applied for perminant residence) they may even grant you up to a year, then you will have to apply for an extension before that 6 months or a year expires.

That is correct acutally you do pay Mississauga. if you send money (or equivilant) to buffalo they will send it back to you. If you paid online send a copy of the receipt to Mississauga and you can probably fax a copy to Buffalo.

lol we applyed for an extension on the hubby's visitor record and got the new one the day after we got ppr lol it was extended until 2013!

There are a few of us December people who applied through Buffalo and are still waiting so you aren't alone. Thinking you are alone in this process is a good way to depress yourself and make this process even harder then it already is. Try to remember that you do have people with you who are...

That sucks :( I sent the RPRF after and sent it to Mississauga and got a letter back saying they received the payment etc. I didn't send it to buffalo :( but I'm hoping when LA contacts Mississauga to confirm payment they will be able to do it quickly...if not I'll have to fax the recepit to...
