hey all, havnt checked in for a while....i see some people are getting positive updates, and even PPR's! contrats... i submitted a change of address recently and got a response from london but just to give me a file number and let me know that an offices will be in touch when they start...

main reason why we are going is that herself has a job over. we will surly hear something from them this week....good or bad :-\

didnt use IMM 5401, applying from ireland and my sponsor is living here also so cant use that (no post code). i sent a bank draft to 'reciever general for/in canada' something like that. hopefully this will be our week

from what ive read, usually sponsorship approval is granted the same day as the file is opened/process, BUT there seems to be cases also where it takes a few days. i guess wait another day or so and call them? also, from what ive read, ecas is updated to say, opened recieved on XX, started...

we phoned the call centre today regarding a fax we sent recently to change our address but our file has not being created yet so we cannot check if the address was updated. also means they havent looked at our file yet :(

oh right, thanks...i hadnt realised you recieved approval letter. im sure the file was recieved in buffalo and is in process. i read somewhere here recently that buffalo system was being upgraded, maybe thats why you havent got an e-mail from them?

how did you log into ECAS without hearing from CIC? where did you get the refrence/client ID number? application files a log time ago, prob should ahve heard something by now, maybe you should call them? IN
