Canada landing on COPR (USA resident with H1B visa)
1. Soft landing for 1 day is OK. No issues. 2. They will send you your COPR paper with your passport. On soft landing, they stamp that paper. Just keep that paper secure and you can use that for reentry.- vm007

Questions regarding staying in Windsor on Canadian PR and working in Detroit on H1B
1) Yes, it is allowed. Lot of people do it. 2) (a) Not sure but I don't think you need to return back to Canada every evening. Please check on this. (b) Yes, but Canada and US have a treaty. So, you only pay whatever is extra that Canada charges to Canada since their taxes are higher.- vm007
