I am still waiting for an acknowledgment for the document I sent via webform on Feb 16th. I couriered the same documents and a week later it showed in the gckey account that the additional documents have been received (I think this is from the courier, not the webform).

Yes, the week after my documents arrived it said we have received your documents :)

I submitted using webform (on Feb 16th) and have not received an acknowledgment from IRCC yet. I only received the automated response. I couriered the documents to IRCC as well. At least I have the tracking info from Canada Post. Hope that helps you.

Would I need one from Canada too? Any idea?

Yup, I better look into this. Fyi, I am not the main applicant...I am the spouse. So I was not expecting the fbi request.

It is interesting how they ask for the police certificate from my home country a month ago and now they decide I need one from FBI as well. Would have appreciated it if they had asked for them at the same time.

Thanks! Do you know how long an FBI clearance lasts? I did one in 2017 (when I came to Canada) so I am surprised to be asked again

I received a letter from IRCC asking for FBI Clearance. Does anyone know how long this will take? Any suggestions as to how I can get this clearance fast?

Glad to be of help. I received an acknowledgment for the webform submission that the new passport details would be added to my file. When I did my biometrics I presented the new passport. No ADR was requested for the new passport.

I renewed my passport and sent it in using webform and mentioned the TFN. This was before I received the AOR. I suggest you submit earlier because it takes a while for webforms to be looked at now

You can use the delivery info as your AR (date received) and AOR comes about 11-12 months later... currently March and April 2021 applicants are receiving their AOR
