After months and months of waiting they've finally given me a test date and a request for fingerprints at the same time.

Anyone else receive a ghost update today (June 9th)? Checking to see if it's just a system update.

I did just that and I was told by my MP that was the reason for the delay in my application.

If you're talking about the test, I've heard of other people accidentally doing this. The test will be invalidated and you'll have to wait for a second test invitation.

Just recived my GCMS notes and surprise surprise... Nothing has been started. As well, I believe my application is still in Sydney. It states "Primary Office: CPC Sydney" & "Secondary Office: Mississauga IRCC". Oh well, nothing to do but be patient I suppose.

From what I know you'd have to withdraw your current online application and even if you were to apply on paper it'd be as if you applied in June. Therefore extending your processing by a good chunk. It wouldn't make much sense applying via paper in your case since you're already 5-7 months into...
