This link is for "WP-EXT except for PGWP ". For PGWP, the applicant first needs to request continued proof of authorization to work using the IRCC web form which I'm not sure if the applicant can continue working before receiving a response to the web form.

Hi, May I ask if you have received your work permit and the province you applied in? I also applied on Sep 8 in Toronto, Ontario and still waiting. I was also given the Jan 6 date in the letter. I'm not sure if I have to stop working on Jan 6 if I don't receive the work permit.

I contacted my work office and they responded that I have to cease work after Jan 6 (my 120 days) if a decision is still not made on my application... So far I couldn't reach IRCC by phone. Does anyone know someone whose application was not made in the 120 days from their application submission...
