Virtual Landing After Temporary Overseas Travel

Hi everyone, I searched a bit and did not find a similar thread. TL;DR: travelled overseas after PR approved and portal details uploaded, back for landing but processing office changed; Spouse also goes from inland to outland; Zero response from emails and IRCC call center agents just want me...

NOC code for Debit/Credit Card Fraud Analyst

Good question. My previous employer is not even a bank - a US fintech company. However IRCC approved my experience under TEER 11109. Tricky part of the NOC system is that it is not able to cover the thousands of different job types in the world, in my experience, IRCC is generous in evaluating...

NOC code for Debit/Credit Card Fraud Analyst

Likely, yes. As long as your employer is somehow finance-related.

Hi, I need to travel soon so I sent them a request to hold my application for now. They will issue my eCOPR after my return so that I won't be stuck outside Canada. I did upload address and photos on April 28.

How can I Travel before receiving my PR card.

The only way to re enter, given you will only be away for a few days and you have already received copr, is to return through land border POEs from the US.

Insights For Approved Applicants Who Will Be Traveling

Do this to avoid being stuck outside Canada with only eCOPR, which the only ways to return is either apply for a PRTD (takes a long time to process) or rebook your tickets to the US then return using land borders. Once an eCOPR is issued all your temporary resident documents like permits and TRV...

Insights For Approved Applicants Who Will Be Traveling

Used Old Medical for PR application

I got remedial request in March, looks like it’s randomly picked. I called IRCC and agent told me that the policy states you “may be” exempted from medical. Nevertheless I’ve got copr number soon after my remedial passed. Timeline in signature.

EE tracker - question about UCI #

You need to wait until it changed to pure number UCI. You won’t be able to register for the tracker before r10 passed anyways. Change of the UCI means you passed r10.

Do I need a permanent full time job offer for Canada Express Entry or Contract Fulltime job is also fine?

Doesn’t matter if you apply under CEC as long as it’s full time & lasted at least 1 calendar year

    Cancel application!! Help please

I just want to emphasize the fact that we are all (current or former) applicants like you who volunteer our time answering questions based on our own experience which may not be applicable to everyone one-size-fits-all. I am a recently approved PR and still here trying to help others as I...
